One question always utters in my mind, what would one yearn
for, if he has profuse money (wealth), health, and enough esteem? What one
should strive for, if he has everything what he dreamed for? What might one can endeavor if he aspired to
the acme peak.
And I question myself, what am I running behind?
MONEY? LUXURY? REVERENCE? LIFESTYLE AND STATUS?
What does SUCCESS really mean?
And I define it my way, "A last triumph after which I would
not hanker for anything, with an intact feel, not just to get accolade by the
society, but for the ego."
And Now it is time to interrogate ourselves, what is that 1st
crave which can gratify the all voracities.
Is it Money(bucks/dough)? Luxury? Veneration for oneself? Or something else?
When I retrospect myself, I perceived that, with lots of
ebbs and flows (food and drains/peaks and valleys) in my life, I had many
prospers moments in my life. But still I do not feel contented. WHY?????
1. A bairn, got nurtured in a joint family, ample
adored by parents and grandparents. (is that not adequate to be prospers and
fortune?)
2. After a financial slump in the family, The
juvenile impedes his studies with numerous hurdles, and all his hampers are
well taken care of by his parents, in the hard time kid encumbers himself and
passes his matric (10th) (is it not a victory?)
3. With the divine hallows of my almighty,
financial acclivity crops up, and the teenager joins in 11th std.
(is it not a lap of luxury?)
4. Surmounting all the hindrance, and conquering
all the retardations, the adolescent procures 12th std. (is it not
the hit?)
5. The teenager joins the college of pharmacy,
acquires his diploma in pharmacy (well, this really looks like a blunder, but
it’s not)
6. Now, with the generous exposure in the college,
Guy at least got the hang of studies and tries to compensate his poor studies
with new records.
7.Well, Guy
joins a mediocre college to hunt graduation in 2008. With the zeal to perform,
guy transcends and scores 1st rank in College.
8. Promulgates his project articles in National Conferences
and National journals. (which is really a pipe dream for a student who
commenced his journey with such perils.)
IS IT NOT SUCCESS?
Answer is NO, the guy is still greedy to reach pinnacle.
Funny part of success is, it changes its definition as soon
as we conquer it. I accede that money, status, luxury, society are part and
parcel of life, but is it success???
GIVE TIME TO YOUR RELATIONS, YOUR PARENTS, YOUR BROTHERS,
SISTERS AND FRIENDS.
NO ONE WILL GOING TO REMEMBER THIS BLOG (THIS POST) ON MY
FUNERAL….!!!
So, let’s re-frame the definition of My success, “A equilibrate state of health, lap of
luxury, adequate revere and RELATIONS (Human Beings).”
Sometimes, I question myself, why do I squabble with
parents, sister and friends, which is really silly and evitable. Who knows how
many days more we will be able to fog a mirror, Just give love and care to
everyone(every human being).
After all, No one will going to compute at my funeral, how much I earned.
So, WHY TO GET STRESSED UP?????
